Text Box: Southern Scratch Junior Bowling Association or SSJBA is a membership organization for Junior Bowlers. SSJBA now sponsors between 15 and 18 scratch tournament stops each season conducted by its Tour the SSJBATour. This website is used to provide schedules, results and information such as scholarship eligibility earned in the competitions. Next event is featured, along with results of all past competitions for recent past seasons. Email contacts and other contact information for directors and treasurer are provided. We hope you find any and all information you are seeking. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Youth Bowling Scholarships of America or YBSA is a private non profit tax exempt 501(c)3 corporation which serves the purpose of promoting scholarships for Youth in bowling. SSJBA is a charter member of the YBSA tour division. The operation of the SSJBATour is a volunteer effort and provides no payment to any Director and the Proprietors of the sponsoring centers are also providing a very favorable lineage fee such that ALL scholarships are maximized. YBSA offers many new approaches to the full development of Scholarships for our Bowlers.                                                                                      

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Southern Scratch Junior Bowling Association – SSJBA has also had a great relationship with Ebonite International, Inc which has provided many

    of their premium bowling balls as awards to our bowlers over the past two decades.  We greatly appreciate the involvement of Ebonite in our ongoing

    support of Youth bowlers.  ALL four of the ball lines which Ebonite now produces are equipment providers and our bowlers also support these equipment

    lines as they develop their abilities in Bowling.  SSJBATour is greatly appreciative of support from Ebonite International, Inc.

  Superbowl 2008 conducted by SSJBA and SSJBATour held on Jun 7 & 8, 2008 at White Sands Bowling Center

The tournament is the culmination of the season with 10K plus in scholarships issued in the last 10 seasons. The only costs the participant must meet are Lineage to the Sponsoring center. This season the lineage for 24 matches will cost $36.00 for each bowler.
